Mrs. Justine Duran, Assistant Principal
Proud to serve as Assistant Principal in Big Spring ISD, I am deeply committed to supporting students, families, and staff while fostering a positive and student-centered learning environment. I moved to West Texas as a child, where I discovered my passion for public education at an early age, inspired by a family of dedicated educators who instilled in me the value of serving others.
I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas Permian Basin and later received my master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley.
I am a proud wife and mom to three wonderful children. I am passionate about helping students and teachers grow into the best versions of themselves by cultivating a supportive, positive, and student-centered learning environment. I consider it both an honor and a blessing to serve the students, families, and staff of Big Spring ISD and am grateful to live out my calling each day.
Go Steers!
